Registration FAQs

When do I have to register by?

Any early-birds who register before June 30th will be offered a reduced rate. Standard-priced registration is open through October 5th. Prices go up starting on October 1st to accommodate late registration.

Who qualifies as a young alum?

Anyone from the class of 2007 to 2016 qualifies for young alumni registration. 

Can I bring my significant other/family/fellow Triangle enthusiast? 

Yes, the weekend is come-one come-all. But each person must register individually. Groups who want to use the same email address for registration confirmation can register as a group and pay in a single transaction.

May I bring my children to the celebration?

Children are welcome to attend all the events during the 125th celebration weekend in November and we have special pricing for children 12 and under. We have also arranged for child-friendly meals at the Gala Dinner on Saturday night.  Please note that we are not providing babysitting services or special activities for your children.

Will tickets be sold to any of the events individually?

With the exception of the Friday night show, all weekend activities are included in registration and do not have a la carte options.

I’m having problems completing my registration or with the website. Whom do I contact?

Are hotel accommodations included in the registration package?

Housing is not included, but Triangle has set up group rates with some of the area hotels. For more information, click here.

Once I get to Princeton, where should I go to pick up my registration information?

We will have a registration station set up across the weekend’s events, so stay tuned for a more updated schedule.

Is it possible to get an extra ticket to the football game?

Extra tickets can be purchased at the University box office by the field at the game.

Are we sure this is Triangle’s 125th Anniversary? The 1963-1964 show Funny Side Up purported to be the 75th Anniversary.

Funny you should ask. This was debated at length as we prepared for the Centennial in 1991.

    - There have been 125 school years since the first year in which there was a Triangle show. Just as we in this part of the world customarily count age in years, the first year isn't one, it's zero. Po-Ca-Han-Tas opened in May 1891, which we don't count as "1", and there have been 125 years since. QED

    - Counting shows is a rabbit hole not to go down:

        - 122 school years with one or more shows

        - 118 school years with shows performed the first time. Po-Ca-Han-Tas, and The King of Pomeru re-ran once each, and The Hon. Julius Caesar re-ran twice

        - 118 shows, counting 1894-95 and 1896-97 as one each (there were two different shows each of those years, and not original ones)

        - 120 shows, counting 1894-95 and 1896-97 as two each

    - It is true that the 1963-64 show Funny Side Up purported to be the 75th Anniversary. One assumes that was due to 1938-39 Once Over Lightly having been billed as the 50th Anniversary show. Could they have arrived at that result by counting 1890-91 Po-Ca-Han-Tas as "1"; instead of zero as we do now...?

    - So we made the decision at the time of the Centennial to re-calibrate and establish 1991 as the "100th" to correct the course. 2016 is the 125th , and 2041 will be the 150th !

In conclusion, how do you get to 125? Via triangulation of course!
