FROSH WEEK SHOW
Friday September 15, 2017 - 7:30pm and 10pm
Our year begins with the Frosh Week Show, a musical comedy revue featuring some of the best Triangle material from the last hundred years. A whirlwind of rehearsals over ten hectic days culminates in two jam-packed performances at Triangle's home in the grand McCarter Theater. Filled with classic Triangle humor, callbacks from the audience, and a whole mess of paper airplanes, this show is Triangle's way of welcoming the incoming freshman class to Princeton.
Friday September 15, 2017 - 9pm and 11:30pm
Immediately following the Frosh Week Show, the freshman class is invited onto the McCarter stage for Triangle's Open House! Come speak to current Triangle members about life in the club and learn how you can get involved!
Sunday September 17, 2017 – Tuesday, September 19, 2017
Come out to auditions for the cast or pit of this year's Triangle Show! Callbacks for cast will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
Fall Break 2017
Fall Break is a big event for Triangle Tech: the entire team stays on campus together and works 9-5 like a professional crew to build the set for Princeton's Famous Triangle Show. Tech week serves as boot camp for new technicians to learn everything about working behind the scenes; it's also an amazing bonding experience when the tech crew really becomes a team. This is Tech's second favorite week of the year (right after tour week!).
Friday, November 10, 2017 - 8PM
Saturday, November 11, 2017 - 8PM
Sunday, November 12, 2017 - 2pm
Don't miss the world premiere of Triangle's all new, completely original musical-comedy extravaganza! Performed in the historic McCarter Theater, the Show combines professional direction and design with original student-written songs and sketches to create a musical experience unlike any other.
Writer's Workshop ApplicationS
Due December, 2017
Are you a composer? Lyricist? Just plain funny? We want you! Well, we will in a few months, when the application goes live (if you'd like to get a head start, check out last year's application). In the meantime, feel free to e-mail head writers Allison Light and Max Feldman with any questions!
Every January, Princeton's Famous Triangle Show embarks on a weeklong tour across the United States. The tour stops vary year-to-year — recently the show has played New York City, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC, and Miami — but the fun and excitement of Triangle on the road has been a constant for generations. Loading the Show in and out of theaters across the country at breakneck speeds, Triangle Tour is one of the most intense and exhilarating weeks of the year.
Spring Show Auditions
Audition for the madness and mayhem that is Triangle's Spring Show! Showcasing early favorites from the new Triangle Writers, this show allows them — and the cast — to stretch themselves in bizarre and unpredictable ways! Audition dates and signup information will be announced in February.
This student-directed revue showcases the newest creations from the Triangle Writer's Workshop. With a small, versatile cast performing in an intimate venue to enthusiastic Triangle fans, Spring Show tends to be raunchy, wild, and sometimes just plain weird.
Friday, June 1, 2018 - 8pm
Saturday, June 2, 2018 - 7pm (out in time for fireworks!)
As thousands of alumni return to campus to relive their days of drunken hooliganism, this year's edition of Princeton's Famous Triangle Show returns to McCarter Theatre for a final bow. Performing to crowds of enthusiastic alumni, the Reunions Show provides a dazzling end to the Triangle year. The onstage reunion after Friday's show allows nostalgic alums to relive their favorite Triangle memories and to welcome graduating seniors into Triangle's distinguished alumni ranks.
